Description
Looking down into the bowl of the well. Easier to see the stones forming a very rough bowl with the eye, rather than in the photograph. Large stone(s) in the foreground, then an arc of rough-worked stone-work courses from the right hand side across to the middle of the photograph, well hidden by shrubbery. Perhaps best seen in winter? No water was visible at the time of our visit. Said by the parish historian to be a pagan well, so ancient origins.
