Description
Visited today 14 May 2022. The "idiots" have been at it, many stones across the whole Cairn have been disturbed and stacked into many little piles across the site.

I love cairns. I would be very upset to find that this has been done to my favourites, as you are here. It’s actually “Heritage crime“ and reportable - here’s a couple of references -

Also - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-51872715 and a video explaining Heritage Crime

I don’t know Glamorgan so I haven’t any links for you there, sorry.

I thought this was Rippon Tor when I saw it, as when I visited in 2019, someone had done the same thing: https://www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=a312&file=index&do=showpic&gid=102&pid=201427&orderby=dateD

I have reported to the GGAT (Glamorgan, Gwent Archeological Trust via their Facebook page. Hopefully they will be able to do the necessary reporting and or work to restore.

GGAT (Glamorgan, Gwent Archeological Trust) have acknowledged my report, they will inform the local Stewardship team and pass it on to Cadw - the Welsh Government historic services service.

Must admit, when I first saw this at a distance from the main road, my fist thought was "Triffids", it looked so strange from 1/3 of a mile away (funny how the eyes and brain sometimes conspire and conjure up things).

I've put this on our front page, not good. Thanks everyone
