Enclosure ‘A’ at SE 83137 92392 –Southern end of enclosure, look westerly, July 2021. The ditch running along the outside of the enclosure is now a drain and shown on the modern OS map as a water course (blue line). However it was formed from the original dike / entrenchment which enclosed the settlement and is indicated as such on historical OS maps.
