Description
Ancient cross in Leicestershire and Rutland England. This is the fragment of Anglo Saxon stone embedded in the exterior east wall of the church, immediately underneath the east window. Prof. Rosemary Cramp in her paper "New Directions in the study of Anglo Saxon Sculpture" (page 4) describes this as part of a grave cover.
