The ring cairn is much bigger than many of the photos show; here the group are on the SW arc of the ring cairn & timber circle. The wind here was picking up droplets of water off the lake and impacting them onto our faces - quite uncomfortable! John's yellow mac is quite conspicuous, but it is pretty well impervious to wind and water, we were told.

It's such an odd landscape there, with that huge body of man made water........
