Description
Looking Down into the Sink Hole
The building covers the present dig area for the kill site. I'll put a note at the location the bison were run over the edge of the hole. They were going to build I-90 right over this sink hole by filling it in, but then it was discovered what was in it, so they went around it. The Vore family, who owned the land gave it to the university of Wyoming, but they didn't do anything with it, so they took it back and are doing things with it themselfs. They have many grand plans for this place which I think I won't be around to see, but I kind of like being here near the beginning anyways. Next, we will go walk down that road there to the building below and look inside at the diggings.
