Reminds me of the rock cut basin at Dunadd in the Kilmartin Valley. I'll post an image for comparison.

I would think that this one is quite a bit larger than the Dunadd one looks in your picture Mick. From memory, this one is more than 2 feet in diameter, and over a foot deep.

Yes, that would make it over twice the size of Dunadd.
