I visited the dunes site this August, unfotunately it was not open for exploration and there was no activity. Nevertheless I was impressed by its size and apparent state of preservation, clearly the excavations are and will continue to have an impact on the dunes flora and overall appearance unless the waste diposal is better organised in the future.
