Osanici Hillfort Iron Age Hillfort on ridge above Stolac, Bosnia. Romans conquered and destroyed this culture in second century BCE. This depression between the main town walls and Akropolis is believed to have held some sort of Forum style official building. I was reminded of cave at Monkodonja, but existance of snakes in the region persuaded me not to explore further.

Osanici Hillfort

Iron Age Hillfort on ridge above Stolac, Bosnia. Romans conquered and destroyed this culture in second century BCE.
