Temple of Zeus Thenatas.
This Archaic Greek temple dates to the 6th Century BCE. It runs roughly north South, with the Altar on the East side. The site is close to the Minoan House of the Lilies.

It is right on the beach in Amnissos, a small beach town about 10 Kilometer east of Heraklion.

Temple of Zeus Thenatas.
