Ala-Bell Pass, Kyrgyzstan

Although traditionally nomadic, many people now live and work in the capital city Bishkek during the long winter months then head out with their yurts to the same patches of land up in the mountains for the summer months. Pretty much everyone has a proper house or flat somewhere whether it is on a farm in a village or in the big city.
