Re: Courbépine Menhir by TheCaptain on Monday, 27 March 2006

Hello.

I personally do not know where the menhir in Courbepine is situated, but it is registered in the Merimee database of French historical sites, see the following link. http://www.culture.gouv.fr/public/mistral/merimee_fr?ACTION=RETROUVER&FIELD_98=LOCA&VALUE_98=%20Courb%e9pine&NUMBER=11&GRP=0&REQ=%28%28Courb%e9pine%29%20%3aLOCA%20%29&USRNAME=nobody&USRPWD=4%24%2534P&SPEC=1&SYN=1&IMLY=&MAX1=1&MAX2=100&MAX3=100&DOM=Tous

It seems that they do not know where it is either ! although they have the statement "il existe un lieu-dit la pierre percée" further down the page.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
