Morecambe Bay Partnership will be joining in the fun at Heysham Viking Festival on the 21st and 22nd July. Come along to our stall to find out about our work around the Bay, including how we investigate and record its archaeology/history, look after beaches and create new visitor experiences such as The Bay Cycle Way. You will even have a chance to create your own mini-Hogback in clay inspired by the stunning example in St Peter's Church, Heysham.
The wider Viking Festival will include a living history encampment, parade, battle re-enactment, fairground, weapons display, craft stalls, combat competition, food and live music at the Heysham Cricket Club, on the Saturday night
