The Culver Archaeological Project (CAP) was set up in 2006 and is currently investigating a previously unknown Romano British settlement site located in the bend of the River Ouse at Bridge Farm, Upper Wellingham, East Sussex (TQ 433144).

This year's excavations begin on Monday 27th July 2016 and will conclude on Sunday 21st August 2016. Two public open-days will be held on Saturday 30th July and Sunday 31st July 2016. Volunteers and students are welcome to join the excavations.
