We stayed at a wonderful thatched roof B&B steps away from the Broad Well and the All Saints Church, our hostess was a great guide and showed us these treasures. It was truely amazing to see the bubbles in the crystal clear water, it is one of the most peaceful places I have visited. I highly suggest you visit this site when in the area. Stone Hendge, Avebury, and Kennet Long Barrow are all close by and you can see the White Horse and Adam's barrow on the hill side from the Broad Well. We saw a crop circle in the morning as we left Alton Prior providing us with the perfect ending to a wonderful trip to the countryside just two hours out of London. I look forward to visiting again and again and again!
