Re: Hudson-Meng Bison Kill by Hayduke on Thursday, 14 March 2013

I worked on the Hudson-Meng site from 1972 through 1974. It was clear that this is an 8,000 year old bison kill site, due to chipped stone spear heads found in-situ in the bone bed and in place in a bison vertebra.

Unlike when I worked there, the site is now in an air-conditioned building where work on the bone bed continues. One can easily drive to the site from Crawford, Nebraska, and either return or continue on north to the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
