Site Name: Dun Mhaigh
Alternative Names Dun Haig; Dun Maigh; Dun Na Maigh
Grid Reference: NC 5523 5303
Accuracy: 5

Situated on a rocky knoll rising from the northern end of a ridge that divides the valley of the Kyle of Tongue into two. On the west side of the broch is cliff that drops away 15 metres.
On a nice day there are extensive views in most directions, on a not so nice day it is better described as exposed.
The broch measures upto 19 metres diameter externally, internal space is upto 9.5 metres diameter.
The entrance passage has the remains of a guard cell, there is a stairway and maybe some other collapsed cells. During the 20th Century there have been various bits of unofficial clearance and rebuild of the site - leaving some areas looking odd.
