I just had to post to say that Fairy Toot Long Barrow, Nempnett Thrubwell must be one of the most intriguingly named sites on The Portal!
I would rank it alongside my two favourite English placenames, the neighbouring Yorkshire villages of Ainderby Quernhow and Busby Stoop.
