This site seems to relate to Llyn y Fan Fach and LYF Fawr (SW & S respectively).This head of a glacier with the two "cwms" is by far the most dominant feature of the landscape.The site also mirrors Cerrig Duon circle in the Tawe Valley.Apparently locals used to make a pilgrimage to these lakes on the first weekend in August,when a rumbling and boiling of the waters would herald the coming of the Lady of the Lake and her oxen.I was up there today and local accoustics and light gave an impression of boiling waters.
