On lidar - despite tree cover, this appears as described by visitors. So a good 'advert' for lidar's woodland penetration capability!

Visited today 11/916, the site was hard to find. A good walk through a wood and you arrive at a fork in the path tae the right path. Interestly at this point there is a farmers gate to a field snd just inside the gate there seems to be a small sarsen stone on the left. Continue along the path then jeep looking to your left eventually you will see a huge chestnut tree and through the undergrowth behind a fence the barrow rises. It is completly overgrown with small trees, others have been cut down. It is so overgrown you can not see the full extent of the barrow. The barrow did have a good feel to it but if left as it is will end up being swamped by nature and forgotten about.

Visited this site earlier today and can't believe it is so "unknown." Comparable in size to Juliberrie's Grave or the Jackets Field Long Barrow. Conservation work in evidence at this site and that's always good to see :-)
