Calton Pasture
Calton Pasture submitted by rogerkread : The middle tumulus - showing a long 'trail' of stones downhill from it, giving the impression of a long barrow rather than a round one, though this could just be due to field clearance of stones, or similar. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Calton Pasture
Calton Pasture submitted by rogerkread : The setting of the middle tumulus of the three in Calton pasture, the one nearest the trig point. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Calton Pasture
Calton Pasture submitted by rogerkread : There are three clearly recognisable tumuli in the grassy expanses of Calton Pasture, plus relatively recent excavations. The grid reference as given doesn't quite fit any of them. Infinite Fate's picture on this page is of the one given a separate page as Calton Pasture II. This photo is of the one nearest 'Moatless Plantation' the least impressive of the three. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Calton Pasture II
Calton Pasture II submitted by rogerkread : Springtime appearance of the 'Goddess'. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Calton Pasture II
Calton Pasture II submitted by rogerkread : One badly disturbed barrow or in fact two adjacent ones? Probably the former, (Vote or comment on this photo)
