Rock Art in Northumberland

Situated 60m north of the hillfort / settlement entrance, this rock art panel is recorded as having at least one basin and two linked cups, countersunk in a naturally weathered depression, with a channel leading into the bowl. This stone has the remains of a DEFRA Conservation Walk badge on its western side. For more information see England's Rock Art entry for ERA-102 Chatton 14, which includes a description, photographs, a sketch of the rock and it motif, plus photogrammetry and media from the Beckensall Archive.

The original Beckensall record can be found at Internet Archive: Beckensall 862 Chatton 14.

This rock art panel is located on Open Access land.
