It sits south of the crag, on a sloping platform overlooking the Ure valley southwards. and there is a small cairn about 50 metres away, between it and the crag. The prominent landmark is Addlebrough hill to the sww.

As previous posts have said, the OS Grid and map marker are incorrect, tagging a cairn on the ridge above the site. This site is marked 'Enclosure' on OS Maps and is at
SD 99000 90130
Clearly visible on aerial mapping and LIDAR, and right next to 'Oxclose Road', which is a path.
Visited on 13 9 22 which was a beautiful sunny day. Although eroded the earthwork is very clear and the remains of the eroded (robbed out?) central mound visible. The site has long distance views to the west, with the foreground sweeping away down to old mine workings. Easy to start musing "Is that stone lined up with that notch in the nearby hill, or is that stone pointing at Pike Hill?"
I've added some photos. Worth a visit.

I’d call it an embanked cairn with stone circle ‘icing’

The site is not on Ivy Scar as on this page map, it is about 200m lower down on the footpath at

54.306782 -2.016837

It’s a short and very pleasant hike from the carpark by the nature reserve and a massive rabbit warren! Through old hazel woods. The plateau top is turf on karst so easy going.

Visited this site around the summer of 1988, was a long trek uphill with the circle being visible from a distance on the hillside. Stunning views to the south. The circle itself had few notable stones, consisting of a rubble bank which had seen better millennia, and a pile of stones in the centre. Not shown on the OS map, and well off the beaten track. A circle for the committed enthusiast only.
