**Cairn Riv** submitted by cosmic : The Carlin Stone at NJ674465 in Aberdeenshire is just under 300m NNE of the Stone Circle at Backhill of Drachlaw. Fred Coles considered it to be the recumbent of another stone circle but at over 8 feet tall this seems unlikely to me. (Vote or comment on this photo)
