Braeside is a stalled cairn first excavated in the 1850's There are 3 pairs of stalls separated by opposing slabs. The line of the passage is offset from the chamber by 10 degrees so that it aligns with the nearby Stone of Setter. This cairn is located along the interesting archaeological trail which starts at the west end of Mill Loch and runs up to Vinquoy Hill and its major cairn.
