The Fairy Steps
The Fairy Steps submitted by Antonine : 2014 (Vote or comment on this photo)
Local legend says that the fairies will grant a wish, to anyone that can walk the Fairy Steps without touching the sides. The site was part of a coffin route, a long, straight trackway, that may have ancient origins, the trackway may be part of a ritual walkway or something like that. Nearby there are various other interesting rock outcrops, but mostly on private land.

The Fairy Steps can be walked to easily though. Always good to take away litter and to say thanks to the Fairies upon leaving.
