The accuracy of the shape is startling and ties-in with the Wook’s Quoit correspondence, suggesting that there was a deliberate acknowledgement of the hill by the megalith builders.
If you are coming from Axbridge to the A38, take the road to Cross and follow until you come to a junction on the left. About 100 metres after this is a field gate, the stone is in this field.
If you look towards Shute Shelve you can see more stones, I don't know what they are but they warrant investigation.
