Garn Wen (Monmouthshire)
Garn Wen (Monmouthshire) submitted by cerrig : Looking North. The hill beyond is Bal Mawr, with Pen y Gadair Fawr beyond that. These stones in the foreground are the closest I could find to the reported stone circle, and they and their many companions are clearly natural. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Some 90m SE of the Garn Wen cairn - three stones in an arc NW-SE with an overall length of some 27m. This site has been described as a possible stone circle and stone alignment and would form an open circle some 50m in diameter. Visited and surveyed 16/03/99.

Garn Wen (Monmouthshire) submitted by cerrig : The cairn itself is quite impressive even in its ruinous and altered state. It must have been even more so in its pomp. Looking South. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Garn Wen (Monmouthshire) submitted by cerrig : The view of the cairn as you approach from the South West. Someone has made a fine job of the pillar. (Vote or comment on this photo)
