Natural Stone / Erratic / Other Natural Feature in Aberdeenshire

This legendary rock, which according to local folklore, had 'healing and magickal properties', features on The Northern Antiquarian's page for Kelpie’s Stane, Corgarff, Aberdeenshire.

This stone stood just to the west of the River Don, and the area looks to have been destroyed by heavy forestry works over the decades.
