The large cup mark in the center of the stone is circled by six smaller cup marks. The stone was most likely moved to its current location from a nearby field.

Across from the cup-marked stone is another large stone once covered in whitewash, but now clear. Nearby is the Fingask standing stone and to the east the remains of a prehistoric promontory fort.
