The photograph above is not of this site but another with a similar name in Herefordshire.

This site is an impressive hill top Fort with double bank and ditch on three sides and a steep incline on the fourth. The flat central area is about 50 yards by 40 yards, roughly oval. Before the planting of modern, commercial forestry it would have commanded extensive views in all directions.
