The OS GPS app on my phone took me straight there. They’re almost hidden in the heather.

The grid ref is wrong it should be NO 0745 6620 . The Explorer map has it spot on .Having said that it is still quite difficult to find. One way of being sure is that the S. and W. stones lean to the NW. There is a cup marked slab in the area too but the markings are very shallow. There's a pic here. http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/42276

only 100 m away from where marked on the map ? You were lucky. Some I have tried to find in France are well over a kilometre from where marked on the maps !

It is an absolute nightmare to find this site. You have to stump through dense and relatively tall heather, so you can see any stones only when you're in front of them. Even though there's a marking at the OS map, the stone wasn't there but 100 m away.
