Stone Row in Clackmannanshire

Stone row set behind rock garden in shrubbery next to greenfield house, just north of the fairyburn near the stone bridge. Greenfield has wells and what looks like an ancient dam.

Re: Greenfield Park, Alloa by Anonymous on Friday, 07 December 2007
Sadly this fairly discreet but magnificent ancient site of 6 stones, which at one time had more recent stone arch pillars around it, which must have been added by the estate owners when the house was built, obviously they were druids, considering the tower on the house, the site was destroyed in December 2007 by Clackmannanshire Council when they widened the road to the Council offices within the park, nothing remains on the site, which is a great shame as this was the only stone row left in Clackmannanshire. Lets hope those responsible awaken the faeries of Fairyburn where the stone lies and get their come uppance.
