Cairn in Carmarthenshire

High in the hills above the Tawe Valley set in deep, mature, commercial forestry and accessed via an avenue through the trees, this extensive cairn or barrow has been extensively damaged. Composed of large, rough stones the site is about 90/100' across and 8' high. At some stage in history the stones have been "modified" to construct several small sheep pens, causing great damage to the structure which, in its original form, would have been an impressive edifice.
