A ring of 9 stones, with the northernmost in fact being two back-to-back, situated in front of a rock outcrop. The diameter of the circle is approx. 7m and it is situated on a level piece of ground half way up a south facing slope with views east and west down the valley. The southernmost stone is the largest, measuring approx. 1m high and 0.5m across. Those to the north-west are only 0.2m high and 0.5m across.

Congratulations to the portal for covering this lovely site, which I have never seen marked on any OS map edition. Strangely though the quartz boulder mentioned is not visible. I imagine the dark ages incursions by pagan Irish led to the name in the same way as the many "Irsihmens' Houses'.
