Three cairns in close proximity. Maen Cairn 1 (grid ref SH 64882 06297) and Maen Cairn 2 (grid ref SH 64860 06343) are approximately 50m apart. These are not modern navigational cairns, they are not situated anywhere near any paths ancient or modern, nor on any feature that is note worthy in the mountaineering world.

Both Maen Cairns 1 & 2 are on a level area of a small rise to the south of Bryncrug Cairn, cairn 2 on a slightly higher (approximately1m) area than cairn 1.

Maen Cairn 3 (grid ref SH 64874 06354) is approximately 15m to 20m to the north east of Maen Cairn 2. Maen Cairn 3 has the appearance of a robbed out burial cairn. It's height now being approximately 1.5m (the cairn is on a steepish slope) with a base of approximately 3m to 3.5m diameter.

There are spectacular views from these cairns west toward the coast and Tywyn, and east/north east toward Cadair Idris across the Dyffryn Dysynni (valley). Also a good view toward Bryncrug cairn to the north.
