Acharn Standing Stone
Acharn Standing Stone submitted by hamish : This relocated stone can be seen on the right going into Killin. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Standing Stone (Menhir) in Perth and Kinross

This stone was removed to its present location for road widening purposes, it now commands a fine view from halfway up the bank. It is on the right hand side going into Killin.

The Northern Antiquarian (TNA) also features a page for this site - see their entry for Acharn, Killin, Perthshire, which gives details for finding this stone together with photographs and a brief archaeology & history.
