markj99 visited on 19th Sep 2020 - their rating: Cond: 4 Amb: 5 Access: 1 Sometimes I almost regret my decision to visit a remote site. The ground underfoot from the edge of Knockman Wood onward was so frustrating that I am not going repeat this particular journey anytime soon.
The stone is situated in moorland with tussocks, marsh, and deep holes. Walking in this terrain is difficult and a walking stick is advisable.
