A stone can be seen standing on top of a small raise in the field to the southwest of the lovely Delford Bridge.

A closer look from the field walls to the south and it is seen there are several other stones laying about near it, and makes me wonder whether this was once a dolmen which has now fallen?

From Cornwall & Scilly HER, site 3061. "A doubtful menhir stands in the middle of a modern pasture field on a gentle north facing slope. This stone was seen from a distance in 1985 (h1) and was thought to be too irregular shaped and bulky to be a menhir. The stone was visited by David Conway in 1995 who describes a large boulder at this position which appears to have been split vertically with the detached pieces lying on the ground close by."

This site contains one large upright stone (close to six feet high, broad and relatively thin, rather like Kerris menhir), four large recumbent stones and over 25 smaller fragments forming an elliptical area with the upright close to the apex. It looks far more like a collapsed quoit (at least to this untrained eye) than a menhir.
