Crocksydam Camp
Crocksydam Camp submitted by Horatio : Looking east with the dark line going from left to right just above rhe rock (lower left) is the ditch that has a a sheep path along it. Not a substantial ditch or rampart and sumthis was possibly a bivariate iron age enclosure/fort. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Crocksydam Camp
Crocksydam Camp submitted by Horatio : Looking towards the bank and ditch approx 100m in length that is overlooked by two crags to the north. Measuring 84x86m the camp promontory shown Moody Nose on OS maps. Excavations in 1930's produced Romano-British pottery from a building of some kind, there was reports of a partial skeleton with what may have been a signet ring or broach made out of bronze.
