Remains of an oval dun of 10 x 8 m diameter with no clear traces of an entrance. The wall on NE arc of the dun is 2.8 m thick.

Dùn Sgalar stands on the very tip, overlooking the waters of Loch Snizort. Dùn Sgalair is a compact little fort, guarded by steep drops all around. Little structure is immediately visible.
