Early Bronze Age Barrows in West Penwith: An Illustrated Talk

When: Wed 22 July 19.00-21.00

Description: Join National Trust archaeologist Paul Bonnington for an illustrated talk on the most frequently encountered yet most enigmatic type of prehistoric monument found in Britain: the Early Bronze Age round barrow. Subjects will include all aspects of their construction, use, and location in West Penwith, thus providing an insight into the rituals and religion of the people who inhabited the area some 4000 years ago.

Directions: Located at SW 3630 3323 - park at the carpark adjacent to the site - parking is free
