TheCaptain visited on 13th Sep 2023 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 4 Access: 2 Next up is the snappily named Circle 275, which is to the south of the trackway in the long grass and heather. This is a lovely little circle of five stones with diameter about 3 metres, and in a most gorgeous setting with views out over the sea and up to the hills with the druids circle visible on the skyline. Is that a spiral carving I see on one of the stones?

Circle 275
Circle 275 submitted by TimPrevett : This picture shows the ring of the five stones which make up Circle 275, just behind is the outlier stone, and on the horizon is Druids Circle. This area is a veritable wonder for the megarak; well worth the visit. (Vote or comment on this photo)
One of a complex of stone circles on the headland of Penmaenmawr above Conway, the unusually named Circle 275 comprises a small ring of five stones, similar to those found in south-west Ireland.

Circle 275 - the 5 monkeys ? by Blingo_von_Trumpenstein on Thursday, 03 February 2011
(User Info | Send a Message)
This is one of my favourite stone circles in Britain !! So small and welcoming.

I propose a name for it - "The 5 Monkeys" or more correctly in Welsh "y 5 mwncïod" and shall use that name from now on.

A special spot to sit and contemplate the disaster that is our world . . .
