Dicke Stein
Dicke Stein submitted by AlexHunger : The Dicke Stein (the fat stone) was re-errected in 2001 in a specialiy laid out park in the pitoresque Palatinate medieval town of Armsheim. All local stones appear to have been moved as a result of agricultural reforms. With 2 Meters tall and 60 cm width, it is actually a rather thin limestone slab with only about 15cm in depth. Menhir in Rheinland Pfalz

About 2.16 metres tall menhir, re-erected 13.6.2001 on lawn next to the Wiesbachbrücke (Wies Brook Bridge) of the Bahnhofstrasse. At the moment, the Spitze Stein lies next to the Dicke Stein, but will eventually be re-erected somewhere else in this town. The process will eventually be documented.
