TheCaptain visited on 18th Jul 2005 - their rating: Cond: 4 Amb: 3 Access: 3 A couple of hundred metres away from the large tumulus, towards the railway line and across a field can be found a nice dolmen 6 metres long, 2 metres wide and 2 metres high. Three capstones sit on three pairs of side stones, but there is no evidence of any entrance or closing slabs.

Material added by Drew Parsons in April 2010: A remote site but well worth a visit. It is located between the villages of Arcay and Chassigny south of Loudun. From Chassigny take the minor road Rue Neuve towards the railway track and at the simple railway crossing turn right to follow the farm track south east for 400 metres. The site is then 200 metres south west of you. A farm track makes its way south west to pass within 50 metres of the dolmen. At this 50 metre point the GPS is 46.95033N 00.01704E.
