Modern Stone Circle / Monolith in Honshū

This temple in a beautiful port town Onomichi has a dry landscape garden which resembles the ones in samurai residences. This temple appears in OZU’s film “Tokyo Story”(1953). "Jōdo" means 'paradise'.
