Hillfort in Bavaria

The Sunderburg was inhabited from early bronze-age (1800-1600 BCE) to Iron-age (Hallstatt, 800 BCE). Later in Medieval (10.-11. century CE) it was rebuilt as a large motte-and-bailey castle.
