This passage grave sits on a mound 11 metres in diameter. One of the large capstones still sits on its orthostats whilst a second rests beside it on the mound. The entrance to the passage is defined by two orthostats some four metres south of the chamber. Behind the site a family tomb was constructed during the 1800's and that explains the regularity of the masonry in the background of some photographs of this site. To reach the site drive north on the E6 from Munkedal then turn south west onto the 162. After approximately 6 kilometres the road forks and here you take the right fork onto highway 171. Go around the top of the inlet and 150 metres before the Åby roundabout and Nordian's Ark, turn north (right) up a lane. Some 300 metres up this lane a track goes into the woods on the eastern (right) side of the lane. Follow this for 50 metres to reach the site.
