Barrow Cemetery in Dolnoslaskie

An Early Bronze Age barrow cemetery is located in a forest north of Niedary. It includes three round barrows, two of which are well-preserved, while the other one (originally the largest) is dug out. They are 1.8-2.2m high and of 19-24m diameter. Near the barrows there are couple of stones with inscriptions “Niedary: a barrow cemetery from 3500 years ago”.

To reach the cemetery you have to turn right on the major crossing in the village (driving from the south) and then first left. After entering the wood walk towards the major crossing and turn into a footpath going towards the NW. The barrows will be visible on both sides of the footpath after 300-400 m.
