Burial Chamber (Dolmen) in Kyūshū
Nagashima (長島) at the north of Kagoshima Prefecture is a huge and quiet island. It has so many burial mound, it might have been confortable place for the Hayato's who were in charge of the coast guard of the southernmost area of Japan.
Myojin Shimo-oka, consisting of 30 dolmens and rock-tile roofed cists close to the sea might have be an evolutionary place where the Korean-imported dolmens matamorphoses into Kagoshima's characteristic rock-tile (instead of cap stone) roofed mounds.
A group of chambered cairns, Myōjin Kofungun (明神古墳群) are near by.
